Lawrence D. Jacobs 
                                                              

Larry Jacobs is an experienced Christian leader and business manager with diverse experience in non-profit organizations, healthcare, Christian ministries and Fortune 500 companies. He was named as one of the Top 40 Leaders Under 40 by the Cincinnati Business Courier in 2003. He is currently Vice President of the Howard Center for Family, Religion and Society, a pro-family, pro-life research and education organization which conducts research and advocates ideas to help the traditional family. The Howard Center works nationally with organizations such as the Family Research Council and Focus on the Family. The Howard Center also operates the World Congress of Families (an organization representing family groups from 65 countries) and attempts to influence United Nations policy as an official US Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) delegate to the UN. Larry is also founder and chief servant at Jabez Consulting, a non-profit consulting business that assists pregnancy centers with medical services, Medicaid reimbursement, business strategy, development and community relationship building. He is the former President, CEO and Development Director of Healthy Beginnings, a pro-life, Christian medical practice and healthcare ministry that works with more than 18 pregnancy centers in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. While at Healthy Beginnings, Mr. Jacobs worked with Dr. Patrick Marmion to develop a $700,000 organization with seven locations, 25 employees and more than 20 volunteer physicians and nurse-midwives. Prior to Healthy Beginnings, Mr. Jacobs spent the eight years at the Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) as a Manager of Product Safety, Environmental and Public Affairs for new business development. While at P&G, he helped introduce newly developed consumer products worldwide. Mr. Jacobs has two Masters’ degrees from Yale University in Economics and Natural Resource Policy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Allegheny College. Mr. Jacobs is married to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer, an LPN nurse, and they have two children, Amanda (8), and Aaron (5). They live in Rockford, Illinois.
